Health & Vaccination Requirements

For the safety and wellbeing of all guests at Dash and Paws, we require every dachshund attending daycare or farmstay to be up to date with their core vaccinations.

Required vaccine:
Dachshunds must have a current C5 vaccination, which protects against FOUR serious and potentially life-threatening diseases:

  • Canine Parvovirus

  • Canine Distemper

  • Infectious Canine Hepatitis

  • Kennel Cough (Bordetella)

Titre Testing

While we understand some owners choose titre testing, Dash and Paws requires all guests to be fully vaccinated and we are unable to accept titre tests as an alternative.

Sterilisation

At Dash and Paws, we encourage responsible pet care. We recommend that all dachshunds are sterilised (spayed or neutered) by 12 months of age.

Reduce the risk of certain health issues, including cancers and infections.
